This is a really lovely photograph. I love the colours in this photo; the gentle blues, purples and pinks marry together really nicely to create a soft, cool lighting that comes with the start of spring. The red- auburn leaves contrast well with the white petals of the flower and really helps the blossoms pop out from the background. I've tried on more than one occasion to do nature photography, so I know how difficult it can be to get the focus and lighting right, let alone give it an interesting composition so that it stands out from the other hundreds of generic flower photos, however this photo instantly caught my attention. I think you've done a really good job.
I guess the only thing I'd say to improve upon (and this really is just me nit-picking) is that I would probably experiment more with the composition of the foreground, e.g. having a couple of blossoms in really sharp focus close to the lens so that you know instantly where the main focus point of your photo is. Maybe another thing might be to increase the shadows so that they are a little more intense. Whilst I really love the soft glow of the lighting in this photo, upping the contrast ever so slightly could darken the background and really make the flowers in the foreground jump out. But overall, amazing work!!!
